Heaton Normal Intermediate has a strong sporting focus. Our dedicated and experienced teachers are committed to providing opportunities for every pupil to engage in and enjoy sport and physical education. From the acquisition and enhancement of fundamental skills through to experiencing a vast range of competitive sports, our programme is rewarding for students of all abilities.
We recognise that sport provides an excellent platform to develop our pupils’ independence, problem solving, communication and the ability to work effectively in teams.
