2020 National Girls’ Cricket Champions

We would like to applaud the wonderful efforts of our 2020 Heaton Girls’ Cricket team, who finished the season with a perfect record to claim the Nationals title in Palmerston North.

Our squad of 13 players worked extremely hard throughout the year to qualify for nationals, playing seven 20/20 games to earn their place in the prestigious final tournament. Eleven players travelled for the final stage of the competition, representing out school with great pride and playing some spectacular team cricket.

Congratulations to all participants on a wonderful achievement, and a huge thank you to coach Barry, Mrs Edge and parents/caregivers for their support in making this opportunity happen for our young cricketers.
