CAIMS Invitational Tournament 2022

The 2022 CAIMS Winter & Indoor Tournament was a fantastic success for our Heaton athletes!

There were 125 teams from 14 Canterbury intermediate and middle schools gathered in venues across Christchurch for the annual CAIMS two day tournament. With nine sporting codes on offer (badminton, basketball, football, hockey, netball, rugby sevens, squash, table tennis and volleyball), Heaton were extremely well represented with the largest number of teams entered out of any school.

The improvements over the two competition days were amazing, as were the attitudes from our student representatives. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated staff and adult volunteers for making this opportunity possible.
