As a school, this is the first time we have entered into this competition, and we are excited to be introducing this as an opportunity to our students.

Cost: The cost to participate in this tournament is $26.50. This will cover transport to and from the event, and entry fees. This amount will be charged to your account. Please get in touch with our Financial Officer, Jackie Hawthorn (eo@heaton.school.nz), if you have any queries or require any support to make this payment.
Staffing
Harry Boyle and Mrs Aine Elliot (teacher in charge) will be the staff attending this tournament, and we are excited to have Tim Brocket supporting us with coaching
Equipment Requirements:
Compulsory Playing Gear
- Mouthguard: This is compulsory. Students will not be permitted to play without one.
- Rugby Boots
- Heaton Rugby Uniform: This will be distributed on Monday in the hall. Please check the notices.
Clothing & Protection
- Heaton Jacket
- Heaton Hat
- Sunblock: Please apply this before arriving; we will have spares for reapplication.
- Please ensure that hoodies and other non-uniform items stay at home.
Food & Hydration
- Large Water Bottle
- Substantial Lunch & High-Energy Snacks
Personal Items
- Personal Medication: Ensure your child has any personal medications with them
Transport:
Students will be travelling to the tournament via bus. Please meed in the Canteen Foyer for a roll call at 8am before jumping on the bus. I anticipate that we will return to school by 3pm, but a message will be sent via Hero in the instance we are delayed.
If your child no longer wishes to participate in this event, please let me know ASAP so that we can find a replacement player.
