Basketball Teams – CAIMS Tournament 2026
If you are sick on a day of the tournament or you cannot attend for any reason, please communicate this directly with Mrs Henderson (hendersonk@heaton.school.nz).
TOURNAMENT DATE & VENUE:
- Tuesday 18th August
MEETING TIME & LOCATION:
- All participants are required to meet promptly in the canteen foyer at 7:50a.m. The bus will depart at 8:15am.
- You need to be changed into your Heaton basketball uniform – wear this to school, and have all your equipment for the tournament – including your mouth guard.

COST:
As an opt-in (user pay) sporting opportunity, participation in this tournament will incur a cost that covers tournament entry fees and return transportation.
These costs will be added to your Heaton school account. If you would prefer that your child is not involved, please email Kate Henderson (hendersonk@heaton.school.nz) before Friday, 14th August.
STUDENT EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Please ensure you have the following equipment with you on Tuesday:
- Packed lunch with plenty of healthy snacks
- Water bottle
- Warm clothing – black or navy track pants are acceptable.
- Heaton Basketball Uniform (you can wear this to school)
- All personal medication you require e.g. EpiPen, Ventolin
